Moya Family ("we", "the app") is a private family-organizer app: shared tasks, events, shopping, finances, and related household tools for the members of your family group. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

What we collect

• Account data — your email address, display name, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email, name, profile picture, and a Google account identifier.
• Content you enter — the data you and your family members add to the app (tasks, events, shopping lists, notes, finances, and any photos you upload). This is yours; we store it only to provide the service.
• Technical data — basic request information (such as IP address) used transiently to operate the service and protect it from abuse.

How we use your data

• To provide and maintain the app and sync data among the members of your family group.
• To send transactional emails you request — email verification and password reset.
• To keep the service secure (rate limiting, abuse prevention).

Sharing

Your content is visible only to members of your own family group. We share data with third parties only as needed to run the service:

• Email delivery — Resend sends verification and reset emails on our behalf.
• Sign-in — Google, if you choose Google sign-in (subject to Google's privacy policy).
• Hosting — our server provider, which stores the data on our behalf.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us; we will remove it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited information to comply with law.

Security

Passwords are stored only as salted cryptographic hashes. Connections use HTTPS. Access tokens are signed and time-limited. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Children

Moya Family is intended for adults managing a household and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).

Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

Changes

We may update this policy; we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
